If you think that summer ends at the same time as August, you're wrong!
Here are 5 good reasons to take a holiday in September, especially if you've been working all summer or the days you had in your heart for the summer have flown away in a breath.
The quietest sea, liveable for all: with the hustle and bustle of August behind September leaves room for everyone, if there is good weather the sea can be wonderful, the beaches are emptied without more crowds and noise, leaving room for silence, tranquility and a lot of healthy relaxation.
The temperatures are not too aggressive: if you love the sea (and we hope you will) but hate the sun, September is for you; the temperatures in the middle of the day are perfect for enjoying the sun and take the last bath, while in the afternoon you can enjoy a walk in the historic villages (for example Comacchio with its canals or Ferrrara with its castle) or a trip to discover the nature reserves (you can not miss the Valleys of Comacchio).
Culinary traditions: September represents for our territory a magnificent month for the culinary discovery; it is easier to find a place and, without too much crowding, the chefs will have an extra eye for your dishes. A great opportunity is also represented by the Eel Festival that takes place in the last weeks of September (if you want some information about it, please see our article here on the site).
More availability: while a problem that may arise in high season is the high occupancy of the facilities (it is likely that you will find your dream apartment occupied), this problem is much less present in low season, where instead the facilities are generally more free and you can choose between the one you like best.
You can treat yourself to some luxury: a holiday in September is also synonymous with savings. So you can treat yourself to a few more treats, perhaps with a candlelight dinner in a nice restaurant, a trip or even a few days in a spa, all things that with the affluence of the central months are, perhaps, not affordable for everyone!
